# Applied AI Society

> A global, nonprofit community of founders, researchers, and builders advancing open-source and applied AI — together, in person, every month.

Applied AI Society convenes the people quietly shaping how intelligence enters the world. We are independent, nonprofit, and built for the long horizon.

Our programs include monthly fireside chats, intimate dinners, a long-form podcast, hackathons, and an annual Summit each October. We work across disciplines — research, capital, craft, and policy — with a focus on open source, AI infrastructure, compute, and sovereign AI.

Membership begins by showing up. Events are curated and intimate. Our community includes founders, operators, researchers, OSS maintainers, investors, students, and policymakers.
