Applied AI Society is a global, nonprofit community thoughtfully shaping the future of Applied, Open Source, and Sovereign AI.

We convene the people quietly shaping the most consequential technology of our time.

Founders, researchers, engineers, investors, open-source maintainers, hardware pioneers, and policymakers — gathered in small rooms, around long tables. Always with intent.

We are independent, nonprofit, and built for the long horizon. Our programs include monthly firesides, intimate dinners, a long-form podcast, hackathons, and an annual Summit each October.

We do events every month with one annual summit around the topics of open source, AI, infrastructure, compute, and more — working with and inspiring students, researchers, tech folks, and enthusiasts looking to learn more about this field.
